I bought a Palmetto State Armory AK-P pistol earlier in the year and recently decided to convert it to an SBR. When the time came to find a nice folding stock for it, I ran into trouble trying to find one I liked the looks of and that would fit my needs. I was originally going to go the triangle stock route, but there was no straightforward way to do this, and I didn't want to cobble something together. I then started looking at stocks that would attach directly to the AK-P's Picatinny rail adapter. I was strongly leaning towards one of the Sig Sauer folding stocks, but when I found JMac's SS-8, I really fell in love with it features and looks. Having had this stock for a while now, I can tell you I am absolutely satisfied and happy with it. I think the greatest compliment I can give it is, that after using and becoming familiar with it, I would buy it again without hesitation. Thanks to JMac for making some of the best firearms accessories on the market today! PS- I'm very happy with the performance of the JMac RRD-4C muzzle device/compensator, as well!

Paired with the MP5 RSA, this stock is EXACTLY what I was missing on my HK MP5. It’s a very sexy piece of machining that functions just as well. It doesn’t add much wait at all but gives you the added ability to fold out of the way to stow or shoot from a compact platform. Engagement on the folding adapter is perfect. Zero play and a strong lock up. Easy to break back down and stow as well. Big thumbs up!
