The KNS Galil-Picatinny Stock Adapter affords the shooter a lightweight folding-stock alternative to the factory Galil ACE folding stock (or brace) assembly. This will allow you to install any of our ArmBar, Stock or ST-6 Options

Easily adapt your Galil ACE rifle, pistol, or SBR for use with picatinny-mounted stocks (like the Sig MCX folding stock) or picatinny-mounted pistol braces with our rock-solid Galil-Picatinny Stock Adapter plate! Our picatinny adapter plate is compatible with all current versions of the Galil ACE rifles and SBR’s (All NFA Rules Apply). So whether your firearm is chambered in 5.56, 7x62x39, or .308 Winchester this plate is guaranteed to securely fit with no wobble or play.

The Galil-Picatinny Stock Adapter is constructed from billet aluminum and is hard-coat anodized for a rugged, durable finish. Picatinny slots are laser-engraved for ease of visibility and to ensure proper mounting location for your stock. Two roll pins and a small packet of silicon adhesive are included with every adapter.

Installation instructions:

Make certain weapon is unloaded, the magazine has been removed, and the chamber is empty

Instructions for single roll pin receivers:

Remove top cover, recoil spring, and bolt group according to original manufacture’s owners manual. Drive out the roll pin in rear of receiver that retains the receiver endplate from either direction. Remove factory receiver rear plate and install KNS stock adapter in it’s place with the picatinny rail facing towards the rear of the firearm. Reinstall roll pin from either direction so that it is flush with the outside of the receiver.

Instructions for double roll pin receivers:

Remove top cover, recoil spring, and bolt group according to original manufacture’s owners manual. Drive out the top roll pin in rear of receiver that retains the receiver endplate from either direction. Remove the two lower roll pins by driving them towards the inside of the firearm. Remove factory receiver rear plate and install KNS stock adapter in it’s place with the picatinny rail facing towards the rear of the firearm. Reinstall long roll pins (additional long roll pin provided) from either direction so that it is flush with the outside of the receiver.

Instructions for adhesive:

Included in the kit is a packet of silicon-based adhesive. This adhesive can be used to take up any play in the adapter/receiver interface in the same manner as the factory. Simply apply several small dabs of adhesive to lower corners and sides of the KNS stock adapter, slide the adapter into place, wipe away any excess adhesive, and let cure overnight. Removal of the adapter is not difficult as the adhesive acts more as a filler than a bonding agent, and will peel off without trouble.
