Not much to say. Craftsmanship is top notch and functions just as described. Gear Head Works Tailhook mounted flawlessly. I'll be buying more Jmac goodies in the future.

AWESOME, SOLID fOLDER
Awesome arm bar/brace combination. Fit and finish are flawless. Love the pin that keeps the Tailhook brace straight and aligned. Love the fact that if I want to SBR it I can by simply paying the Feds and buying the folding buttplate. Arm bar folds and holds very nicely. 10 out of 10.

Solid machine work. But above that customer service is on point. Answered questions super quick on IG and when my dumba** closed the folding mech on accident before installation they were there to help and offered to replace free of charge even though it was 100% my fault.

Tailhook, bar, and folding mech
Purchased for my gen1 galil Ace pistol in 7.62x39. LOVE it. So much better than the ugly bulky factory brace. The folding mech is very easy to manipulate and the bar is lightweight, sturdy, and adds better cheek support when aiming through my eotech. The tailhook is also extremely well manufactured. Thanks JMAC! Customer service was also superior and they answered all of my questions on parts before ordering. Installation was fairly easy and I didnt have to refer to tons of videos online to figure it out.

Ok, so have you ever wanted a Pistol (Thanks AFT) that has a skeletonized Arm Bar and sturdy brace adaptor that works well with other types of braced products? Versatility. I cant stress it enough. The AB-8R is a must for all your adaptor needs for adding an aesthetically amazing product to your AK pattern rifles/pistols. Its durable, maintains its durability for all kinds of rounds, even high powder heavy, grain projectiles. Do yourself a favor and dont think about it because this product is just as good if not even better then any arm bar on the market! 6 out of 5 stars.

I've used a wide variety of brace/stock adapters, proprietary arm bars, braces etc. and I have to say that I really appreciate this setup. Lock up is maximum rock solid, no play at all. Slimline design makes for great maneuverability in drills or competition. And the fit and finish are second to none. IMO, what sets it apart is the instant deployment feature. You're not fighting to lift up or push down on an armbar or engage a release button to deploy the brace. It locks up nice and solid against the receiver and when you're ready to go, you simply pull. Huge advantage. The only potential improvement I see is the length. This one is a bit stubby for my liking and I wish we had a small selection of lengths to choose from. Love JMac products, the quality is just amazing. Really appreciate the work JMac.

This is a solid unit with the folding mechanism and Tailhook attachment. It looks great, locks up tight and fits the 1913 rail on my akv perfect.
